The metal shade of this hanging light has a dome shape and has a smooth copper finish on top of it whcih reflects gold in some light. The top of the dome shape has an extended flat door knob shape that is connected to the chain that helps you hang it up. There is a bulb holder in the upper center of the metal shade which is encassed in a metal cage. The thin metal cage is in a matte black color and gives a very industrial feel to the whole look of this hanging light. The light this hanging light throws is stunning and diffused enough to elevate any space it is used in.
